Welcome to the online sessions of Module 2 of the Masters in Health Supply Chain Management. In this module, we shall have e-tivities and major assignments focusing on the major pillars of health supply chain management: selection, quantification, and procurement. Topics of product specification, quality assurance, contract management, tendering, and supplier agreements will also be discussed. Lastly, key health supply chain management issues in emergencies will also be highlighted.

Welcome to this module on storage and distribution of medicines and health products. This is Module 3 of the Masters in Health Supply Chain Management. The aim of this module is to equip students with the necessary competencies to be able to receive, store, and distribute the health commodities and health technologies to the facilities. The design and management of information, materials and services, transportation and warehousing, packing and re-packing will be emphasized. The issue of waste and expiries’ management as well as reverse flow of health products and health technologies will be discussed.

Aim of the module:
The aim of this module is to equip students with two sets of skills i.e human resource management skills and interpersonal skills that managers in the supply chain are likely to need to perform their jobs effectively and for the effective performance of different areas/parts of the supply chain
This module of study identifies the essential knowledge, skills needed in managing human resources in the supply chain. The curriculum is designed to enable students to manage organization employees. It exposes students to tools and paradigms than can help one to project and plan for human resources. The module emphasizes on the importance of future oriented human resource management which will ensure organizations with appropriate number of employees with needed skills for effective organization performance.
