Aim of the module:

This module seeks to equip students with competencies relevant to conducting research, with a focus on pharmaceuticals and vaccine manufacturing, quality assurance, and quality control within manufacturing plants and regulatory settings. Thus, it aims to equip learners with the knowledge and practical skills required in conducting quantitative and qualitative research, ethical issues in research, scientific writing, and publication.

This module aims to equip students with the necessary competencies to optimize the health supply chain, to improve customer service and product availability at the lowest cost possible. Attention will be given to system design, monitoring and utilizing data for action.

Brief description of the module:

This module covers four units in four weeks: Unit 1 is Introduction of Health Supply Chain Optimization, Landscape Analysis and Risk Management, Unit 2 is Supply Chain Performance, Integration and Strategic Cost Management, Unit 3 is IT and Supply chain integration and Unit 4 is Leveraging synergies and contemporary issues.

Welcome to this module on the integration of new technologies in HSC. This is Module 13 of the Masters in Health Supply Chain Management.  The aim of this module is to equip you with the necessary competencies to integrate new technologies in the health supply chain management to improve the performance of HSCM. The contents of this module include the concepts of identification, integration process, HSCM continuous monitoring, and learning from technological innovations in the HSCM.

This module is on Applied Research Methods. This is Module 11 of the Masters in Health Supply Chain Management. The module aims to equip you with the necessary competencies to conduct operational research to continuously generate evidence for health systems in general and HSCM in particular. The contents of this module focus on the understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods, mixed research methods, operation research, research ethics and required research approval processes. We hope you enjoy studying this module and gain information and skills that you can apply in your workplace and that will assist you in adding value to pharmaceutical supply chain management.
